Ideal for use with today's lead-free solder, the MP-100 is a perfect personal soldering tool for R&D, engineers, repair technicians and serious electronic hobbyists.

The MP-100 MicroPro AC powers up with the push of a button with tip operating temperatures of 662°F (350°C) after 30 seconds and up to 1004°F (540°C) after 120 seconds, with 14 watts maximum power. The unique heating element is built into the soldering tip, allowing fast heat-up and recovery time with outstanding heat transfer. The tips feature Ultratip® technology, the long lasting, oxygen-free, copper based, iron and chrome plated soldering tip, tinned with lead-free solder. The automatic stand-by idling mode extends tip life and decreases oxidation during long pauses in work, reducing temperatures to as low as 166°F (140°C). Green and red LED lights indicate stand-by and operating modes. The MP-100 is easy to handle, at 6.5" long, .52" wide and only 1.1 oz.

Unit comes standard with .50mm conical tip, universal AC/DC adaptor, electrical cord, protective cap, and stand with built-in tip removal tool. Six additional tips are also available separately.
